Following the exciting Pitch Night for the “Southern Star West Cork Business and Tourism Awards” held last November in AIB Skibbereen, Hennessy Outdoors is delighted to be recently selected as a finalist in not one, but two categories! On the night, a panel of judges heard a number of entertaining pitches by some incredible West Cork businesses across the following categories:
- West Cork’s Best Customer Service (Nominee)
- Best New Business
- Best Small Business (Nominee)
- Best Medium/Large Business
- Best Use of Creative Marketing
- Best Tourism Experience
- West Cork Young Businessperson of the Year
- Business in the Community Award
Speaking in relation to the pitch night, Managing Director of Southern Star Media, Sean Mahon said “On display on the pitch night was passion, creativity, ingenuity, innovation and collegiality from businesses that were big and small, new and established.”
Representing Hennessy Outdoors on the night were company Owner and Director Aidan Hennessy and Sales and Marketing Manager Jean Farrelly. Hennessy Outdoors is now a finalist in the “Best Small Business” Category along with the “Best Customer Service” category.
The winners for each category at the Southern Star West Cork Business and Tourism Awards 2022 will be announced at the Gala Awards Luncheon held in The Maritime Hotel on Friday 3rd February. Fingers crossed!
