8ft x 6ft Timber Garden Shed: built in West Cork, assembled in your garden
The Hennessy 8ft x 6ft timber garden shed gives you dependable, dry storage without taking over the garden. It fits bicycles, a lawnmower, garden tools, outdoor toys and seasonal gear, and its compact footprint suits smaller gardens and tighter spaces.
Every shed is made locally from fully pressure-treated, kiln-dried Latvian redwood with a 22mm shiplap exterior, built to handle Irish weather. Our own team delivers it and puts it together on site, so there is nothing for you to assemble.

Clear and roughly level the area where the shed will go. If you already have a concrete slab, that’s ideal. If not, we can supply concrete blocks at €2 each and set the shed on them.
We deliver & build
Typically within 1–2 weeks, our team delivers and assembles the shed in place.

Before delivery day
- The area is cleared, with either a concrete slab ready or concrete blocks ordered from us (€2 each)
- The shed’s position is decided and marked out
- Gates, paths and corners measured for clear access
- Clear route from the van to the shed location
Delivery includes up to 15 minutes to carry the shed to its spot. Extra handling time is charged at €40 per hour. See the Shed Preparation tab for full base details.

Yes. The 8ft x 6ft shed comfortably holds bicycles, a lawnmower and garden tools. Usable space depends on how you arrange shelving, so if you need more room look at our 8ft x 8ft or 10ft x 6ft sheds.

Yes. We need a clear, safe route from the delivery vehicle to the shed location. Please measure gates, paths and tight corners before ordering, and contact us if access might be difficult.

Hennessy Timber Group Garden Shed Policy
(To be read and understood by the customer)
- Site must be prepared and levelled by the customer.
- Shed will only be placed on level site, i.e. concrete base or blocks etc.
- Concrete Blocks will be charged @ €2.00 ea.
- A pre-determined location must be decided upon by the customer and clearly marked out before
installation. - We do not recommend moving shed once in position.
Shed Preparation:
All sheds need a solid, level base, but you don’t have to build one yourself. You have two options:
- Concrete slab: If you already have a level concrete slab, that’s perfect. It should be slightly larger than the shed’s footprint.
- Concrete blocks: No slab? Just clear and level the area where the shed is going. We can supply 10cm concrete blocks at €2 each and place the shed on them.
Sheds over 10m² need a concrete base, approximately 10–15cm thick and slightly larger than the shed’s floor area.

- All sheds to be pre-paid or Cash on Delivery.
- All sheds are P.V.C lined and fully pressure treated
- Important: Fifteen minutes is allocated for the manual handling of the shed to its pre-determined
construction site. This is more than adequate time for this endeavour. Any extra time taken will
be charged at a rate of €40.00 per hour.
